KAFFA Development Association (KDA) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization created to raise funds in support of projects and awareness of issues for the Kaffa region in southwest Ethiopia. The money is spent on projects that help the sustainability and self-sufficiency of the people in this region. The members are Ethiopian-born immigrants to the Denver, Colorado area and Americans who want to help the people of the Kaffa region.
The foundation was started in Denver by involving Americans and Africans who were interested in international development. Dr. Ron Larson, Gabe Yesho, Shigwazua Kassa, Addisu Haile, and Amano Gano have been instrumental in getting this foundation off the ground.
Moving forward, the foundation continues to strive to help the people by fundraising and sending money raised to the Kaffa region for the completion of projects.
